Drugs ‘fuelling’ Thailand unrest

Authorities say cheap and dangerous drug complicates conflict in southern Thailand.

For the last six years, the people of southern Thailand have suffered near-daily violence, which has claimed more than 4,00 lives.

The conflict is between Muslim separatists, and the security forces of the mainly-Buddhist country.

Now authorities say the conflict is being further complicated by a cheap and dangerous drug.
