Darien Gap: A Migrant Journey

Thousands of migrants are having to trek through an infamous jungle called the Darien Gap on their way to the United States.
It is a lawless region of rivers and mountains controlled by criminal organisations.
Al Jazeera Latin American correspondent Teresa Bo travelled to the region to hear the migrants’ devastating stories of being sexually assaulted and robbed.
