Dutch drought at Tour de France

Majority of the Dutch population uses a bike daily. But where is the success at cycling’s biggest event?

The 102nd edition of the Tour de France gets underway on Saturday in the Dutch city of Utrecht.

Cycling is a way of life in the Netherlands with most of its 16 million people using a bike every day.

But it hasn’t translated into success in the sport’s biggest race.
