The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved a malaria vaccine for widespread use among children in Africa.
It follows decades of development and successful trials in Ghana, Kenya and Malawi.
The WHO and drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline say it is a breakthrough.
Could it help eradicate the disease? And will it be affordable for those who need it most?
