Myanmar exiles return home

In another sign of potential change following years of military rule, political exiles are returning home to Myanmar after nearly two decades outside their nation.

For those granted visas, their trips, though short, will serve as a barometer to see how, if at all, recent political developments are making an impact on the daily lives of the people of Yangon.

Al Jazeera’s Wayne Hay reports from Yangon where he accompanies Aung Zaw, a student dissident turned journalist, on his return to Myanmar after 8,000 nights in Thailand.
