Fossil reveals pre-historic sea monster

US scientists study fossil of 240-million-year-old sea reptile, dubbed the T-Rex of the Sea.

Scientists in the US are studying the fossil of a more than 240-million-year-old sea reptile, dubbed the T-Rex of the Sea. 

It had pronged teeth with knife-like edges that allowed it to eat animals its own size.

The species has been named Jim, after the scientist who discovered it completely by chance.
