Tunisia’s Education Minister Salem Labyedh has resigned as pressure mounts on the government to step down.

Protests against the ruling Ennahda party intensified after last week’s killing of opposition MP Mohamed Brahmi.

Ennahda has warned that its withdrawl from power could drag the country into chaos.
