Desperation grows among Pakistan’s displaced

Thousands fleeing army offensive against Taliban in North Waziristan find themselves without much hope in camps.

Pakistan’s ongoing military operation against the Taliban in North Waziristan has displaced more than 700,000 people.

Many have settled near the town of Bannu.

With no end in sight, people in these temporary camps are growing increasingly desperate.
