Returning the United States to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal will be one of the biggest diplomatic challenges for US President-elect Joe Biden.
Iran is already reducing its commitments. Its parliament has passed a draft bill to boost uranium enrichment and stop unannounced inspections of its nuclear sites.
Iran’s rival Saudi Arabia – and Germany – have suggested broadening the agreement.
