Four Greenlanders deeply disagree on the direction for their country’s future, but all fight for a better Greenland.
On the world’s largest island, four young Greenlanders actively try to shape their country’s future.
Tillie, a poised politician, is in favour of retaining Greenland’s status as part of the Kingdom of Denmark, albeit calling it the “Kingdom of Denmark 2.0”. Kaaleeraq suspends his studies to stand for parliament, vehemently pro-independence. Rapper Josef, and his fiancé, Paninnguaq tackle issues of national importance such as alcoholism and near epidemic levels of suicide. Josef’s songs celebrate Greenlandic culture and question the relationship with Denmark.
These four Greenlanders each, in their own way, are determined to provide a new voice for their nation.
