It is 2018 and young Zimbabwean journalist Gibson Nyikadzino wants to know what voters are thinking in the run-up to the country’s first democratic election following the removal of Robert Mugabe.

It is a time when young people can almost taste the freedom that their predecessors struggled for.

Fears of violence, voter fraud and hopes for change fuel the already charged atmosphere leading up to election day. But people are worried that Mugabe’s party, ZANU-PF, might once more grab the election, and that the military will be deployed against opposition protesters.
