China’s president consolidates power with ‘Xi Jinping Thought’

China‘s president will have his own political theory incorporated into the guidelines for the ruling Communist party.

State media is reporting the so-called Xi Jinping Thought will have 14 principles, but it is not yet known what they are.

Xi’s Thoughts are expected to further consolidate his power and putting him on a par with the founder of the Communist party, Mao Zedong.
