A South African court has more than doubled Oscar Pistorius’s murder sentence after finding the original ruling ‘shockingly lenient’.

A South African court has more than doubled Oscar Pistorius’s murder sentence after finding the original ruling ‘shockingly lenient’.

The South African gold-medal winning Paralympian will serve 13 years and five months.

The previous sentence was for six years.

Pistorius was convicted of the 2013 murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
