Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria blamed for attack on church

There have been disputes over land across central Nigeria between mostly Christian farming communities and Muslim herdsmen for many years.

Disputes over territory are escalating elsewhere in Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari‘s government is under pressure to prevent such attacks, ahead of elections next year.
