Hosting a World Cup can leave a myriad of effects on a nation, from local landmarks to international relations, but what changes will endure in Russia and who will be affected?

Over the last five weeks, hundreds of thousands of fans and a few hundred footballers have made Russia their home. It was a host nation that was unexpectedly good on the pitch and where the people showed the world it could be the venue for a global party, as well as international politics.
