Mountain biking has been an Olympic sport since 1996, yet lives in the shadow of road cycling attract big sponsors and money.

It is no Tour de France, but the conditions are just as harsh.

For the 80 cyclists competing in the Crocodile Trophy mountain biking race, winning is a rite of passage.
