A Maori woman’s journey to zero waste

Many people around the world are already trying to do things differently to reduce their impact on the planet – even when others around them are not.

Miriama Kamo is a Maori woman from New Zealand, who this year embarked on what became a very public journey towards zero waste.

She talks to Al Jazeera about her mission.
