Argentina poverty on the rise despite president promises
Freezing temperatures have once again raised concerns over rising poverty in Argentina.
With Argentina‘s general election just months away, President Mauricio Macri‘s record is under growing scrutiny.
When he took office in 2015, reducing poverty was his number one priority.
But a new study shows that as many as three million Argentinians have fallen on hard times, during the past year alone.
