Calls for release of detainees in UK immigration centres

Al Jazeera looks at the uncertainty people released from immigration centres in the UK face due to the coronavirus pandemic.

People released from the United Kingdom’s immigration detention centres are waiting to find out what will happen to them when the lockdown is eased.

About a third being held were freed at the height of the coronavirus pandemic to try and stop the spread of the virus.
