China rejects accusations it concealed COVID-19 information

Beijing declares its actions to contain the pandemic have been “rigorous” and “effective” and says if it is able to develop a vaccine, it will make it available to the world.

China has rejected accusations that it concealed information on the coronavirus outbreak, declaring its actions to contain the pandemic as “rigorous” and “effective”.

Its defence was made in a government white paper.

China also says that if it is able to develop a vaccine, it will make it available to the world.
