At least 229 people, including 32 civilians, have been killed in Indian-administered Kashmir in the past six months, according to rights group, the Coalition of Civil Society.

The latest deaths happened on Wednesday when a civilian and a soldier were killed during a shootout in Sopore, north of Srinagar.
